Adam B., Senior ACT/SAT, GRE, AP & Writing Tutor
Adam graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Syracuse University where he also earned a perfect 4.0 GPA. Adam has an extensive teaching and tutoring career spanning back over 6 years. While at Brown University, he served as a Writing Fellow and peer tutor, tutoring over 30 students 1-on-1 each semester. During his time at Syracuse University, he served as a Literature and Writing Instructor teaching undergraduate courses. Adam considers himself a “natural teacher” as, beyond having a command of the material, he takes great pride in creatively dissecting information to better help students re-imagine and digest difficult concepts, ultimately better understanding themselves as learners. Having worked extensively with college freshmen and sophomores, Adam is acutely sensitive to the needs of students (and anxious parents) getting ready to transition from high school to university, making him a stellar tutor for College Applications, AP Exams and the ACT/SAT. He is also an expert online GRE instructor.
