Customized CPA Tutoring
Thank you for visiting MyGuru's CPA tutoring page. We are the official partner of several CPA prep and accounting profession online communities, including www.ipassthecpaexam.com and www.big4bound.com
Private CPA tutoring can make the process of preparing for a CPA exam more efficient relative to self-study or self-paced online CPA prep. Studying for the CPA efficiently is particularly important if, like many aspiring CPAs, you are a full-time working professional. To study for months and then miss passing by just a few points is, obviously, very frustrating.
We have local CPA tutors in several cities, but private online CPA tutoring is the preferred way we help most students get past the CPA.We cover all sections of the CPA exam: Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Business Environment and Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Regulation (REG).

Our Approach to Customized CPA Prep
Most students prepare for CPA exams using self-study materials from Becker, Surgent, Roger, Gleim, and others. While these CPA prep solutions are generally filled with helpful explanations, practice problems, and test-taking strategies, the amount of CPA topics one must cover can be daunting.
A CPA tutor functions as a mentor, coach, and teacher, to help you choose materials, develop a study plan, and of course, fully understand difficult concepts and review practice problems. Most importantly, a CPA tutor helps you prioritize your study efforts, teaching you how to study for the CPA in the most effective and efficient way possible.
The process starts with a free phone call to discuss your situation. The materials you are using, exam you are preparing for, time you have available before your next exam, and CPA topics you've found difficult are covered. Over the course of this initial phone call and your first official tutoring session, a customized CPA study plan is developed. Typically, your tutor will leverage the CPA prep materials you are already using, clarifying and elaborating on critical concepts and giving you critical feedback on missed problems.
